Data Management Process

Data is any is any detail that is yet to be processed into information. Data is said to be very important because it usually provides details concerning a relevant subject. Data is most common in form text printed matter. Data can also be in the form of digital data that is stored in the electronic memory of the computer. Data that is in print format can be read directly from the source. Example of this utility of data reading written data from a printed source like; books, magazine, journals, newspapers just to name a few. Print format of data presentation is the oldest means of presenting data to the final user.

Data can also be availed as digital data to the user. Data in this format is different from data on printed matter. For a user to access digital data, he or she requires a digital or electronic device. The user will have to use the digital device to access data stored in digital format. A common example of a digital devise that aids users to access digital data is the computer. Since data is very crucial and important, it has to be safely stored when not in use or after use. Through proper data management processes data can be easily managed.
